The Practice of Sustainable Design:
A Pre-Thesis Study on Alternative Automotive Leather Trim

This project was a pre-thesis exploration on alternative materials to source for interior automotive fabric that will eventually represent a full circular economy. My goal was to use a variety of sustainability frameworks and brainstorming to arrive at a solution that would not cause harm to the biosphere. Ultimately, this project concluded as re-examining what luxury means to today’s consumer and working towards how to reframe the perception of what that is.
